It's Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year- but also the busiest! May I recommend this delicious slow-cooker French dip brisket? Prep it in the morning, then after a day of work, last-minute gift shopping, Christmas party hopping, etc, it will be there waiting for you. Don't be afraid to get messy and dunk your bread in the sauce!!

This blog began as a way for me to make a record of recipes we tried and enjoyed, so I could have a quick reference for meal ideas to fill the week. For the first few years of marriage, my cooking repertoire consisted of pasta, pizza, and grilled cheese sandwiches. Then I started watching the Food Network, and everything changed.
